Lottie is a HealthTech start-up based in London, founded by brother duo, Chris and Will Donnelly. Our mission is to elevate later life for everybody and build the later living sector of the future.

Lottie launched in August 2021 and today offers three core products, including: 

Lottie’s Marketplace (B2B2C) -A free service that helps families and retirees find the UK’s best care homes and retirement living properties.

Found by Lottie (B2B) -CRM software mapped to the care and retirement living industries unique customer journey.

Seniorcare by Lottie (B2B) -Employee benefits platform, helping corporates deliver outstanding eldercare support to their employees.

Since launch, Lottie has gone on to support millions of families navigate the stressful later living system, while helping tens of thousands begin their next chapter in later life care.

The opportunity

After scaling to 500,000 monthly users, Lottie is looking to hire a world class marketing leader to own and develop our outstanding existing 10-person marketing team. This individual will join Lottie’s recently created senior leadership team and will be tasked with building Lottie into a future global household name as big as Airbnb, Netflix and Spotify, while inspiring the marketing department to develop a brand that communicates Lottie’s mission and to change the perceptions of later life care.

What you’ll be doing

  • Partner with other senior leadership to deliver on Lottie’s ambitious company-wide growth targets.
  • Lead operational excellence and rapid execution across the marketing department, while demonstrating exceptional people management capabilities and an ability to inspire the people around you.
  • Develop Lottie’s brand proposition to destigmatise the perceptions of later life care and retirement.
  • Work company wide to clearly crystalise and communicate the brand, customer acquisition strategy and marketing roadmap.
  • Form a new marketing team focused on brand, including content creation, events, out of home marketing and social media.
  • Adopt and manage Lottie’s existing high-performing marketing teams including CRM, Growth, Digital PR & SEO squads.
  • Work with Lottie’s product team to develop viral product features & referral mechanics.
  • Oversee all marketing activities of Found - Lottie’s B2B cloud-based software used by care homes to manage enquiries, customer relationship, resident occupancy and finances.

  • Understand Lottie’s target audience and put their needs and interests first.
  • Strong intuition about brands that customers love, as well as an understanding of what makes customers love those brands.
  • Expert storytelling skills and the creativity to inspire Lottie’s audience.

Inspirational and Visionary Leadership:

  • A charismatic, engaging person who can build, manage, and motivate a high-performing team.
  • A creative, innovative flair, that can excite and build passion through their ideas, strategies and vision for Lottie’s brand.
  • Ability to unify strategy across the marketing squads to achieve business goals.
  • Experience in building new teams and developing existing teams.
  • Able to challenge the status quo and to lead new innovations in a broken, offline and unloved industry.
  • An excellent communicator who can eloquently talk through the Lottie’s vision and brand story, inspiring teams, our partners and our consumers.

Technical Experience

  • Experienced in building and developing well recognised consumer brands.
  • Able to define and execute marketing strategies across the marketing ecosystem; brand, growth and product marketing.
  • Ability to effectively measure marketing performance and to scale successful channels based on data-led insights.
  • Experience in managing and successfully deploying large marketing budgets.
  • Ability to develop brand metrics and company-wide marketing strategies, which align and contribute to the business’s overall performance.
  • Expert understanding of digital marketing, including CRM, Digital PR, Paid Media, SEO and other performance marketing related activities.
  • Deep understanding of product-led marketing - working with product teams to build viral product features and referral mechanisms.
  • Understanding of customer retention and how to build long-term user engagement.
  • Experience in managing successful out of home marketing campaigns, as well as all Radio and TV advertising.
