Role Summary:

Role Requirements:

  • A full driving license, with the ability to drive different vehicles.
  • Proficiency in animal handling and physical tasks to meet high animal care standards. Full training will be provided.

The role: We are seeking two Animal Transport Assistants, one full-time and one part-time, to join our team. The full-time role is a fixed-term position for 12 months, and the part-time role is permanent. Both positions involve working some weekends and bank holidays. The main responsibilities include the safe transportation of animals between our sites in Battersea, Old Windsor, and Brands Hatch, and to foster homes in the local areas. This role is crucial for the smooth operation and timely care of our animals. It requires a full driving license and confidence in navigating through London’s busy streets and the countryside of Berkshire and Kent.

Job requirements: Candidates must be capable of driving a variety of vehicles, including estate cars and Ford Transit size vans. Animal handling is part of the role, with full training provided to ensure safety during transit. The role involves significant physical tasks to maintain our high standards of animal care.
