Sales and Marketing Manager

The Role

The Sales and Marketing Manager is a new position in the Business Development department leading on new business acquisition for The Vegan Trademark, our internationally recognised product registration scheme. Working closely with the Head of Commercial Services and

Director of Business Development, the role will oversee the effective management of our leadgenerating activities, ensuring our sales tactics and activities deliver against our income targets. The salary range for this role is £36,648–£42,403 based on experience.

Aligning our marketing and sales activities with clear SMART targets and metrics will be a large focus for this role, as well as developing new and existing projects and areas that will drive growth for the trademark.

This will be a, primarily, remote working role, which requires the willingness and ability to travel to meet the needs of the team and the wider organisation when appropriate. There may be occasional national and international travel to events or talks, as well as meeting with the

wider team at our Head Office in Birmingham, and other locations, several times a year.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring our new business income targets are met.
• Reviewing and developing our marketing and sales plans, ensuring they are effective, can be measured, and meet the needs of the different functions.
• Leading the required development within our CRM system for accurate campaign and team performance monitoring against KPIs.

• A solid understanding of business-to-business sales tactics and experience in leading sales teams.
• Good knowledge of digital marketing to drive lead generation.

Salary and Hours

This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) role with a salary of £36,648–42,403 per annum.
