Role Summary

  • Spearheading Pod's expansion into the homebuilder sector.

Role Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in business development and 5 years in a sales leadership role in the construction tech, energy, EV, or clean tech sectors.
  • Proven record in managing both enterprise and SME deal cycles, with significant experience in the Built Environment/Homebuild space.
  • Experience with CRM and sales analytics tools, particularly HubSpot.
  • A demonstrated ability to develop strategic partnerships and manage high-performing teams.

The role: As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will spearhead Pod’s expansion into the homebuilder sector. This critical position involves strategic planning and direct engagement in high-stakes deal-making with major developers and construction firms. You will lead a team, driving growth and shaping partnerships to integrate EV charging solutions in new homes and communities, aligning with the UK’s shift towards a zero-carbon future.

Job requirements: You should bring a minimum of 8 years in business development, with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role, preferably within the construction tech, energy, EV, or clean tech sectors. A strong track record in managing both enterprise and SME deal cycles and experience in the Built Environment/Homebuild space is essential. Familiarity with CRM and sales analytics tools, particularly HubSpot, is expected, alongside a proven ability to develop strategic partnerships and manage high-performing teams.
