This exciting Social Media Manager role in our Comms team here at Virgin Red spans across our exciting trail blazing group of Virgin Companies. It manages our @Virgin masterbrand channels, celebrating the best of the brand and working closely with inspiring brands in our network from our passionate NGO Virgin Unite and the Branson family channels, through to our exciting travel companies Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Voyages. - Content strategy support – supporting the Head of Content and Senior Content Manager with the creation and delivery of the content strategy.
- Leading on Virgin Masterbrand (@virgin) channels and content projects, supporting the Virgin companies with exciting announcements and events.
- Overseeing two social media producers to deliver content across Virgin Red and Virgin Trains Ticketing channels – making sure all channels are aligning with the strategy and hitting KPIs.
- Managing and overseeing paid social for multiple Virgin channels.
- Coming up with creative ideas and working with our content agency to create content that hits our core deliverables of entertaining and driving up awareness and conversion.
- Having a commercial vision of how the content produced and posted impacts and benefits our partners and our brands – and looking for ways to expand awareness of the brand and drive acquisition.
- Develop and evolve our tone of voice across all content.
- Supporting on relationship management with social agencies such as Hootsuite and managing assigned Vco and Red partner relationships to ensure the efficient running of our social channels.
- Developing and running social campaigns and competitions, from concept to delivery and measurement.
- Detailed reporting on social engagement, measuring awareness, reach and acquisition.
What you’ll need
- To be a social media expert across all social networks, current and emerging, with a passion for brands
- Proficient in end to end delivery of high profile social campaigns, including measurment and reporting
- Good knowledge of website analytical tools and working with Data teams.
- Highligh organised with a proactive can-do attitude
- A positive force and someone that enjoys developing others and contributing to a strong team ethic.
