An exciting opportunity has just become available for an Accounts & Operations Assistant to join a London based Talent Agency who represent some of the leading creative talent working across the UK and US today.

In this assistant role, you will support the Head of Finance & Operations, bringing a highly organised approach to the administrative needs – from invoicing and payments to bookkeeping and reconciling accounts, as well as assisting with operational tasks and the day-to-day running of a busy office.

What we are offering

·      Salary between £26,000 - £30,000 PA depending on experience (pro-rata)

Key tasks and Responsibilities

·      Revenue invoicing & tracking and processing client, staff and supplier payments

·      Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks

·      Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions

·      Accounting system and database management

·      Assist with payroll administration and employee expense reimbursements

·      Day-to-day operational business support

·      Assist with the annual budget and agent projections

·      Process agent expenses and expense reports

·      Ad hoc holiday cover for the Head of Finance

·      Prepare financial reports, commission reports & assist with month-end close activities

·      Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients

·      Support the Head of Finance with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed

·      Keep up to date on exchange rates and currency conversions

·      Keep up to date on financial news e.g., VAT thresholds, tax rules and budgets etc.

·      Liaise with the company accountants, bank managers and IT support

Required Skills/Knowledge

·      Xero or similar Accounting Software is preferable

·      Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

·      Experience in using Adobe Sign or DocuSign

·      Excellent communication skills and desire to be a team player

·      Ability to work independently

·      Clear attention to detail and an analytical attitude

·      Accuracy in data entry and record keeping

·      Strong organisational & time management skills, with the ability to hit tight deadlines

·      Experience in using Tagmin would be an advantage, but not essential

What we are looking for

·      Previous experience in an accounts role is essential (minimum of 1 year)

·      Previous administrative / operations experience is desirable

·      Entry level AAT/IAB or related Bookkeeping qualification would be an advantage

·      The employer requires a candidate with the desire to learn, work hard and be ready to apply yourself to a wide range of tasks

·      LARK run a very busy office, so you need to be ready to hit the ground running
