Managed by The Parks Trust, an independent charity, we oversee more than 6,000 acres of parkland and green spaces in Milton Keynes. The Role: As a Park Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Willen Lake remains a pristine and welcoming environment for all visitors. Your responsibilities will include litter picking, emptying bins, and conducting inspections to maintain the cleanliness and order of the park. Additionally, you will be tasked with the upkeep of visitor and staff facilities, including toilets and changing rooms. This position requires flexibility to work shifts across a 7-day operation, typically between 7am and 10pm, and includes working every other weekend and some bank holidays.
Job Requirements: We are seeking an outgoing and flexible individual who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service. While a full UK driving licence and a first aid qualification are desirable, they are not mandatory. Experience in risk assessment or knowledge of countryside/landscape management would be beneficial.
