Role Summary
- Represent and give a voice to the V-Label in Germany as the V-Label PR Manager.
- Develop and manage communication strategies with strategic and journalistic sensitivity.
- Directly influence perception and development of the V-Label through planned and executed communication.
- Write and edit press releases, media statements, guest articles and other external communication texts.
Role Requirements
- Master's degree in Communication, PR, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Years of experience in press and public relations, ideally in an NGO or agency environment.
- Superior German written and verbal communication skills (C2 level).
- Capacity to handle media inquiries even in sensitive situations with creativity.

ProVeg International is a nutrition organization committed to transforming the global food system by replacing animal products with plant-based and cultured alternatives. As a V-Label PR Manager, you will join our communications team and give the V-Label a strong, unified voice in Germany. You will develop and manage communication measures with strategic foresight and journalistic sensitivity, ensuring the V-Label is represented clearly and effectively in both trade and consumer media.
The role: As the V-Label PR Manager, you will directly influence the perception and development of the V-Label by leading communications around the label. This includes developing, planning, and implementing communication strategies to ensure consistent V-Label presence in German media. You will also write and edit press releases, media statements, guest articles, and other texts for external communication.
Job requirements: Candidates should have a Master's degree in Communication, PR, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field, and several years of experience in press and public relations, ideally in an NGO or agency environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German (C2 level) are essential, along with creative thinking and the ability to handle media inquiries, even in sensitive situations.
Benefits: ProVeg offers flexible working hours with the possibility to compensate overtime with leisure time. Full remote work is available, with the option to work from our Berlin office. You can also work temporarily from abroad (subject to a limit of 183 days/year). The organization provides 25 days of basic annual leave, with the option to 'purchase' additional days.
