At Battersea, we are dedicated to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need, ensuring they have the love and care they need. Work as a Rehoming & Welfare Assistant in our London centre, maintaining cleanliness in our kennels, providing accurate food, water, and enrichment, as well as supporting the behavioural and medical needs of the dogs under our care.
Role Duties
- Carry out high-standard animal husbandry duties.
- Ensure cleanliness and necessary supplies in the kennels.
- Manage behavioral and medical needs of the dogs.
- Maintain accurate animal records.

The role: We are looking for two Rehoming & Welfare Assistants (Dogs) to join our London Battersea centre to provide the highest standards of animal husbandry, care, and enrichment to the dogs in our care. In this role, you will ensure our kennels meet high standards of cleanliness, provide dogs with the correct food, water, and enrichment, and support their behavioural and medical needs. You will keep accurate animal records and regularly review procedures to maintain excellent care for every dog at Battersea.
Job requirements: We are looking for people with the resilience and adaptability to handle all aspects of this role. It is important to note that the role does involve a lot of physical tasks which are required to provide the exceptional standards of care to our animals.
