Management Consultant, Finance and Business Operations

About the Team:

As we continue to grow, so does our Finance team. In 2021, Bubble raised $100M in our Series A round, and with all this new growth, we are excited to bring on a Management Consultant, Finance and Business Operations to our small but mighty team.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Process Optimization:

• 
  
• Conduct thorough assessments of current sales processes and identify areas for improvement.
  
• Design, implement, and oversee strategic initiatives to streamline and optimize the end-to-end sales process.
  

Performance Analysis:

• 
  
• Analyze sales data, metrics, and key performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  
• Provide actionable insights to enhance individual and team sales performance.
  
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with overall business goals.
  
• Assist the Sales quota and compensation plan design
  

Finance Planning & Reporting:

• 
  
• Collaborate with various departments to develop improvements to the annual budgeting process, and ensure proper implementation of the new process.
  
• Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to assess financial forecasting metrics and tools, as well as identify risks and opportunities for improved accuracy and completeness.
  
• Evaluate and implement financial models and procedures to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
  
• Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial results against budgets and forecasts.
  
• Identify opportunities to optimize the reporting methodologies and outputs.
  

 Ad-hoc Projects:

• 
  
• Provide recommendations for product positioning, pricing strategies, and market segmentation.
  
• Act as a strategic partner, advising on business initiatives and decisions by leveraging financial modelling skills and Strategic BI tools
  
• Recommend improvements to existing processes, systems, and workflows.
  

Requirements:

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with coursework in business analytics or a similar quantitative field.
  
• Preference for at least 5 years of experience as a management consultant or a similar role advising companies on business and finance operations and analytics.
  
• Tech-savvy and MS Excel superuser; comfortable building financial models from scratch and analyzing large datasets. Familiarity with SQL or Looker databases is a plus.
  
• Leadership capabilities, Executive Presence, and influencing skills - you’re comfortable presenting business metrics to executives and influence cross functional stakeholders. 
  
• Ability to operate autonomously, with a sense of urgency.
  
• Able to come into Bubble's office in NYC regularly.

We offer competitive compensation aligned to tier one markets, such as New York City, San Francisco, and Seattle. Our estimated salary for this role at Bubble ranges from $127,000 to $172,000. Actual pay is determined by multiple factors such as skills, qualifications, experience and market demand.
