We are looking for a freelance HR professional, to report to the HR Manager and help support our people managers in setting up our colleagues to do their life's best work. We do things differently at Oak and are always looking to improve our ways of working and challenge the status quo.

We work with schools, teachers and the wider education system to create and support the use of world class digital education products built around our rigorous, high quality curriculum.

Working with Oak's HR Manager to support resource creation/development and process improvements on a freelance basis (2-3 days per week on average for approximately the next 3 months).
This could include:
- Curating and creating resources to develop and support great people management and help build Oak's culture.
- Policy review and development (revisions and new policy areas).
- Resource review and creation, for improved hiring and onboarding experience.
You will need
- Proven experience as an HR consultant, preferably in a freelance capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law, regulations, and HR best practice.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to write in plain English and in a way that supports organisational culture
