Title: Funding and Partnerships Lead  

Salary: £49,309 per annum  

Contract: Permanent 

Hours: 35 hours per week 

Location: London based, working from home is an option in line with Crisis’ Hybrid Working policy, with at least one day per week in our London office and some nationwide travel for meetings and events. 

About the role 

As Funding and Partnerships Lead you will be responsible for leading our work with Philanthropists, to support our ambitions to raise a £20 million fund and increase our investments into businesses working to end homelessness. You will be key to successfully growing our investment portfolio which means working in a fast paced and agile way, using your knowledge of the entrepreneurial landscape to proactively seek out opportunities to generate income. This role is second in command to the Head of Venture Studio - supporting them to lead a talented and driven team working with entrepreneurs and start-ups to accelerate our mission of ending homelessness.  

About you 

To be successful in this role you will need to be an outstanding communicator and team player. You will be used to working in a fast-paced environment and are skilled at developing effective relationships quickly. This role would suit someone from a traditional charity fundraising background who has experience with innovative and agile ways of working. It would also be a great opportunity for someone who has experience in generating income for start-up investment and is looking to make a positive impact on society.   

You may have experience in, fundraising, entrepreneurship, impact investing, venture capital, housing, and homelessness.
