Good & Proper Tea are London-based, premium tea specialists, loved & served by the UK’s finest cafes, hotels and restaurants, as well as enjoyed by a loyal and fast-growing community of tea drinkers at home. With nearly 11 years of brewing now under our belt, we’re growing faster than ever and are now ready to take things to the next level. That means continuing to build our brand community, ensuring we remain best-in-class when it comes to quality, and leading the way on all things sustainability, from becoming certified B Corp (in progress) to continuing on our roadmap to Net Zero.
Working closely with the Founder, we are seeking a dynamic Marketing Executive to join our small team to cover a maternity leave position for a minimum of 9 months, with a view to extending to permanent. While our marketing strategy is in place, we need an energetic and creative individual to own it and bring it to life, managing day-to-day marketing activities, content planning and execution and be the driving force behind our comms.
Responsibilities:
- Execute marketing plans, including regular newsletters, content creation, and blog posts.
- Oversee all marketing initiatives, as well as social media management (LinkedIn and Instagram).
- Engage with our social media audience, fostering strong connections with our customers.
- Collaborate with partners and external stakeholders to broaden our audience and share our brand story
- Work closely with Emilie, our Founder and Brand Director , to bring marketing plans to fruition.
- Create and curate visually appealing content, including photos, to enhance our brand image.
- Develop and implement creative campaigns to promote our brand and products on key dates.
- Find creative ways to take our audiences on the journey with us when it comes to Sustainability, from sharing our own milestones and approach, to engaging with and sharing relevant industry content.
You’ll need to have:
- Excellent tone of voice and copywriting skills to craft compelling content.
- A creative visual eye to reinforce our strong brand aesthetic - being a photography whizz is a bonus.
- Enthusiasm for doing things properly, for tea and for the food and drink industry as a whole.
- Next-level organisation and multi-task management skills.
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative marketing campaigns.
- Passion for creating visually engaging content
- 1-3 years’ experience activating marketing plans.
- Brilliant communication skills.
- A can-do attitude - being a small team it’s essential that we all muck in and share the positivity.
- A passion for people and the planet - we have ambitious plans when it comes to sustainability - you will play a key role in sharing these and encouraging our wider community and customer base to prioritise the planet too.
- Flexibility to work on-site in London Bridge for at least 3 days a week.
