As the Senior Business Development Manager at Togather, you will be at the forefront of capitalising on the £7.7 billion UK venues market, with a special focus on the £4.3 billion spent on food and beverage services. Reporting to the Commercial Director, your mission is to establish Togather as the preferred partner for the most iconic event venues.

Your role involves strategic opportunity identification, relationship building, and market expansion across both London and the UK, setting new standards for event catering services in large-capacity venues. This position is perfect for an experienced sales professional with a deep understanding of the venues industry and a strong network.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development:

  • Identify and evaluate partnership opportunities with large-capacity corporate event venues
  • Execute strategies to secure exclusive F&B contracts, boosting revenue
  • Build relationships with venue and corporate event decision-makers

2. Industry Engagement:

  • Utilise your industry network and knowledge to position Togather as the preferred F&B partner for large-capacity venues
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and competitors

3. Client Engagement:

  • Collaborate with venues and corporate clients to understand their specific F&B needs
  • Highlight our expertise in delivering exceptional F&B services for events

4. Market Expansion:

  • Travel extensively across the UK, with a focus on London, to establish Togather's presence within the venues sector
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential clients and partners

Requirements

  • Sales Experience: Proven success in senior sales roles, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the venues sector, including trends and challenges
  • Event Expertise: Experience in the events industry, including event planning and execution
  • Networking Skills: Strong ability to build and maintain an extensive network of industry contacts
  • Sales Drive: Natural sales acumen with a history of surpassing ambitious sales targets
  • Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills to address the unique needs of venue owners
  • Team Player: Enthusiasm for collaborating within a dynamic team and contributing to Togather's leadership in the venues sector for corporate events
