Togather started life as Feast It, in 2017, as a booking platform for people to book street food caterers for their birthday parties and weddings. Since then, we have grown to become the UK’s biggest events platform as Togather for food, drink, venues, photographers and so much more.

The Role:

We're in search of an accomplished product leader with the experience and drive to propel our product and business to new heights. This role involves leading our internal product team, shaping and driving our engineering output, and contributing to our exciting 24-month plans. It would also give you the chance to take over an established team and turbo charge it - and help revolutionise a global industry.

With small but mighty in-house Product, Engineering, and Design teams, we have grown from a platform used by organisers used to book the country's best caterers through, to a holistic operations system for the events industry.

In your team, you will  have Product Managers and Designers, and you'll be expected to channel these areas into creating a product that continues to build on our best-in-class status. You'll steer Togather towards becoming an iconic brand for both event organisers and suppliers.

You'll report directly to the COO and work closely with our CTO and CMO to ensure our product and tech underpin everything we do. As the Supplier, Customer, and Product evangelist within the Senior Management team, you will work alongside the CEO & founders to develop a best-in-class long-term, scalable product strategy.

It will be important to be at the forefront of technological trends and ensure that Togather is making full use of them where relevant. In particular this will encompass a focus on AI and data, but ensuring that Togather is always leading the way.

Responsibilities

• As the leader of our product team, you're a key senior manager responsible for steering the company towards long-term success.
• You'll drive our company-wide product vision and ensure it's consistently communicated to all product teams and Togather stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the CEO and COO to create and own the near and longer term  product & product roadmap vision.
• Ensure that all of Togather's product squads are aligned with a common vision and deliver a cohesive product experience.
• Improve existing product processes, squad setups, and maintain a cutting-edge agile product team.
• Ensure that we are incorporating AI into Togather’s product and using data to add value back to our users. 
• Manage a rapidly growing team of exceptional talent, helping them reach their potential and individual career goals.
• Act as an external brand evangelist, positioning Togather as a nationally recognised leader in product and tech startups.
• Collaborate with commercial, tech, and operations to spot opportunities and improve conversion.
• Keep a dialogue open with Togather's customers and suppliers to ensure we're making the most effective product updates.
• Stay up to date with developments in the Product Management field, ensuring we're at the forefront.
• Be comfortable also delivering as individual contributor by owning a squad within one of our key internal focus areas (acquisition).

Requirements

• Experience in a high growth startup leading a product function
• Have previously managed a Product & Design team with direct reports
• Understanding how a marketplace and product led business functions
• Experience owning a product roadmap and vision
• Ideally experience within the events or marketplace space
