We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Content and Communications Assistant to join our CRM and brand team. This role is crucial for expanding Pact Coffee's reach and increasing brand awareness through captivating content across multiple platforms.
- Engage with audiences on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Strava, and YouTube.
- Manage the social media content calendar.
- Communicate with journalists and coordinate sample deliveries for PR.
- Take charge of product description pages, ensuring SEO and trend alignment.
- Perform keyword research and craft blog content to attract new visitors.
- Analyze competitors to keep our content fresh and relevant.
- Focus on persuasive copywriting that adheres to Pact Coffee's style guide.
- Build relationships with internal and external partners and collaborate on shared initiatives.
- At least 1 year of social media or marketing experience, or relevant experience in the coffee industry.
- Ambitious and proactive with excellent time management.
- Strong communication skills, with a keen eye for grammar and spelling.
- High-level writing ability, with or without professional writing experience (training provided).
- Familiarity with Google Workspace.

Requirements
We’re looking for a Content and Communications Assistant who will support the Content and Communications Lead within our wider CRM and brand team. You’ll be a key player in the growth of Pact Coffee, writing and appropriating content on a wide array of channels to further awareness of the brand, increase positive customer sentiment, and sell the company’s coffee and products.
As a Content and Communications Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:
- Posting, testing, learning, and listening to the audience on all social media channels, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, Linkedin, Strava, and Youtube.
- Ownership of the social media calendar.
- Emailing journalists and organising the delivery of samples to generate PR coverage for Pact Coffee.
- Ownership of PDP creation for coffees and store products, auditing these frequently, keeping in mind search-engine optimisation and customer trends.
- Conducting keyword research and using this to write blog articles which bring new eyes to the Pact Coffee website.
- Conducting competitor analysis to stay ahead of the crowd and ensure Pact Coffee is talking about what interests the customer as soon as it happens.
- Copywriting with conversion in mind to be convincing, concise, and grammatically correct at all times and aligning with the Pact Coffee style guide.
- Create and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Working with like-minded brands on partnerships when it’s beneficial for Pact Coffee.
What’s beneficial for candidates:
- 1+ year of experience working in social media, in a marketing role, or in the coffee industry.
- A driven, ambitious attitude to proactively get things done.
- Outstanding time-management skills and a highly professional attitude.
- A great communicator.
- A laser-sharp focus for grammar and spelling. Professional experience in writing isn’t necessary (you’ll be trained on the job), but you’ll still be able to write to a very high standard.
- A proficiency in Google Workspace.
