Hi, we’re Bloom & Wild. We don’t just send flowers. We help our customers to care wildly. Caring wildly is celebrating the little things we all do for each other every day. Not just the big occasions. It’s being there for the highs. Stepping up for the lows.

Care has been at the heart of our business from the start. From the products we source, and the packaging we send them in, to the way we look after our colleagues, our customers, our planet, and the communities around us.

Founded in 2013, our mission back then was to make sending and receiving flowers the joy that it should be, by harnessing technology, brand and letterbox delivery. We announced £75 million Series D funding in 2021 and that same year acquired bloomon in The Netherlands and Bergamotte in France. Together, we’ve fulfilled and delivered over 20 million orders (and counting!), making us the largest direct to consumer flower business in Europe.

Now home to a family of 3 beautiful brands, we’re driven by our vision to create the destination for making life a little more thoughtful and beautiful. And we won't stop at flowers and plants. Starting with the Bloom & Wild brand, we're expanding our gifting offering to other categories like cakes, candles and cocktails. This is all part of our ambition to build Europe's #1 direct to consumer gifting destination.

🛠️ Brand @ Bloom & Wild Group

We’re a vibrant and dynamic bunch of 15 creative thinkers across 3 disciplines: brand (including brand management, brand partnerships and social media), creative (including creative concepting, art direction and copywriting, production, graphic, content and physical product design) and communications (consumer and corporate PR).

We’re responsible for global brand strategy and creative output, and work with teams across the business in all markets to bring this to life. We use customer insight and creative flair to build uplifting and innovative brand experiences for our customers and constantly challenge ourselves to do better. We collaborate closely with Research to inform our thinking, the Range and Business Development teams on designing our products and services, with the Germany team on plans that resonate in their local market, and with our Digital Product and Design teams on our website and app.

We’re passionate about who we are as a brand and how we show up creatively in the world - and we love seeing Bloom & Wild grow, so we work at pace, pouring thought and care into everything we do.

⚙️ What you'll be doing:

We're looking for a Brand Manager to join us for 12-months from March 2024! Reporting to Charlotte, our Brand Lead, and joining our agile team of 5 brand specialists, you’ll manage an exciting, varied mix of projects and campaigns – from seasonal moments, to strategic brand partnerships and engaging activations.

This will include:

You’ll own and manage campaigns and partnerships of various sizes, working with stakeholders from across the business to shape, iterate, execute and report on activity. You’ll be a go-to brand voice and guardian alongside our Brand Lead, continually ensuring that output is on brand and meets the objectives of the brief.  You’ll craft seasonal direction brand briefs bringing together brand & range objectives and building on the marketing learnings from previous years to inspire the creative team. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams including Range, Business Development and Creative to develop new products and partnerships that build our distinctiveness, from initial ideation right through to launch and integration into our BAU workstreams. You’ll adopt a test and learn mentality across all of our campaigns, ensuring continual optimisation. You’ll spot opportunities for improvement and design measurable tests alongside other teams. At the end of campaigns you’ll pull together a comprehensive review and make a recommendation for next time based on all of the learnings.

✅ You’ll love this role if you…

Are an experienced project manager, able to assemble cross-functional teams and keep complex projects on track to deliver against targets and to budget. Have a strong understanding of brand communications and wider media culture to back up your recommendations and decisions - you’ll have strong references and refreshing ideas. Are proactive and able to work at pace, with a natural bias to action. You’re results-focused, comfortable with setting and measuring KPIs. Are a creative problem solver who is solutions orientated and raises issues or unexpected problems early to ensure success. Are a strong communicator, clear in presenting your work to your peers and stakeholders, and can tailor your style to different audiences. Are willing to work from our offices in Vauxhall at least twice weekly.

You'll need...

3-5 years of experience in a brand or marketing role, ideally with another eComm or D2C brand. Experience across multiple and as many brand touchpoints as possible! Experience working collaboratively with creative teams to create work that is inspiring, engaging and delivers results. Experience managing project budgets.

These are some of the skills and experience we think will enable success in this role, but please don’t worry if you are missing some of these. We’re committed to building a team made up of different strengths, skills and experiences, so if you’re excited about our values, passionate about what you do and would like to join us in doing things more thoughtfully, we’d love to hear from you.

🧭 Our ways of working

We do things a little bit differently. From inventing letterbox flowers to founding The Thoughtful Marketing Movement. We’re big on collaboration, empathy, knowledge sharing and growth, and our values drive our priorities every day:

Lead change for good: we have the guts to try new things and step up to do what matters most

Think deeply, act swiftly: we make sure there’s thoughtful rationale behind our approach and always act swiftly to implement ideas

Care wildly: we pour care and creativity into everything we do and pay attention to the things that make a difference

Stay open, be curious: we’re open about what we’re doing and why, and we welcome challenges from each other

We really believe in the power of face-to-face connections - be that through a shared project, a learning and development opportunity, or an after work social - and trust our teams to make the right decisions (for them and us) about where and how they work each day. Our working patterns are flexible and vary across the business, depending on the type of work, need for collaboration, and personal and wellbeing circumstances.
