Product Development Intern

And that’s why we are looking for 2 R&D Interns to join our R&D team and work closely with senior scientists. You will participate in various stages of the laboratory development work of Heura products. You should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

• 
  

• Organize and carry out laboratory trials.

  
  

• Manage in full autonomy laboratory tasks, including coordination of shelf life studies and nutritional analysis, samples preparation.

  
  

• Assist the R&D Project Managers with product development projects and support all development and pre-launch activities to create winning products. In some cases he/she will need to commute to industrial partners.

  
  

• Carry out laboratory tests, evaluate results and write reports.

• Previous experience in similar roles, ideally at an FMCG or aFood-Tech company is preferred.

  
  

• A BSc or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline, Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or similar.

  
  

• Knowledge across a variety of lab procedures and analytical techniques

  
  

• Self-starter, a naturally curious solution machine, who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.

  
  

• Ability to continuously challenge assumptions to seek innovative solutions with WOW results.

  
  

• A Can do problem solver and agile team player.

  
  

• Good communication, presentation, planning and organization skills.

  
  

• An analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving mindset to approach everyday challenges.
  

  
  

• Ability to prioritize and anticipate opportunities

  
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English (mandatory) and Spanish.
