THE ROLE

Climate Impact Partners, a leading provider of high-quality climate solutions, is looking for a Head of Global Core Sales to join the Client Solutions team in the UK, with a focus on UK business opportunities.

As a Head of SME Sales, you will make your mark, share your passion, and develop the market-based solutions needed to support the climate and create a more sustainable world. You will be ready to hit the ground running to maximize new business opportunities and support transactional SME clients by leveraging your own experience and expertise, and the company’s unique capabilities as a provider of market-based environmental solutions.

Your responsibilities will extend to collaborating with cross-functional teams, analysing client feedback for continuous process improvement, and developing innovative approaches to meet evolving client needs. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, an analytical mindset, and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous process improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Implement and drive a robust core sales processes to aid growth targets, expand market presence, and diversify revenue streams. Focus on ensuring customer success, retention, and driving revenue growth within the region.
  • Establish and champion sales operations processes to boost productivity and expedite deal cycles.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Global Director of Project Development, Director of Product Development, and the Global Sourcing Director, to ensure seamless communication and execution of business objectives, across product and supply.
  • Establish and maintain operational excellence by exploring opportunities for automation and digitalisation, driving continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Drive SLA reduction by implementing targeted strategies, monitoring metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance sales responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with Client Dashboard project team to support implementation and development of the solution and ensure excellent customer user experience.
  • Set and lead ‘what good looks like’ for core customer success globally.
  • Establish good relationship management practices across the team, ensuring that our team have excellent product knowledge and the ability to act as a trusted partner to clients with varying levels of carbon knowledge.
  • Build and lead a high-performing global team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture, ensuring profitability targets are met to scale impact
  • Manage and drive achievement of KPI’s, and where achievement falls short, create remedial action plans for improvement, or to respond to market changes
  • Drive and support lean process transformation initiatives to reduce deal cycle time and improve the customer experience.
  • Monitor client accounts and patterns to identify account growth and retention opportunities.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


  • Proven experience in a business development leadership role, preferably within the environmental or sustainability sector
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth and expanding market share
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • A continuous track record of hitting and exceeding targets is critical, combined with strong influencing skills
  • Structured key account management leadership skills
  • A track record of driving fast growth in a B2B market with the ability to develop opportunities and relationships to drive growth across a technical industry
  • Dedicated to providing best-in-class services to clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of the carbon markets, sustainability, or related fields is highly desirable.
