The Compliance Officer will oversee, sign off  and maintain all compliance standards related to NHS staffing. This role involves conducting thorough reviews of candidate credentials, ensuring compliance with NHS framework regulations, and collaborating with candidates and clients to meet compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Compliance Review and Assessment:
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of healthcare professional credentials, licenses, certifications, and background checks to ensure compliance with industry and framework standards.
  • Analyse documentation and verify to confirm eligibility for placement.
Regulatory Knowledge and Adherence:
  • Stay up-to-date with healthcare framework compliance standards, ensuring that all healthcare professionals meet these requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to candidates and internal teams regarding compliance standards and necessary documentation.
Documentation management:
  • Maintain accurate and organised records of candidate compliance documentation, ensuring all files are complete and up-to-date.
  • Work closely with the Candidate Recruitment team to obtain and verify required documentation.
Candidate Communication and Support:
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address any gaps or issues in their compliance documentation.
  • Provide guidance and support to candidates, facilitating the resolution of compliance-related issues that block candidate placement.
Quality assurance:
  • Implement quality assurance measures to ensure that all healthcare professionals meet framework standards and that agency operations adhere to audit regulations.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to continuously improve compliance processes.
Performance Metrics and Reporting:
  • Track and report on key compliance metrics, such as candidate compliance rates, documentation accuracy, and compliance issue resolution.

Requirements

  • An understanding of compliance management, particularly in the healthcare or staffing industry.
  • A knowledge of NHS framework regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Dedication to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and quality.
