Elevator Pitch: The Company. Us. Runway East.

Did you want to grow up and work in a boring office? Us neither. At Runway East, we've been on a mission to destroy boring offices since 2014, in whatever size, shape and form they take. Since launching, we now have 9 buildings in London, Bristol and Brighton offering unique flexible office space for teams of 1 - 100 to work in, enjoying everything from dogs on demand to our famed Friday drinks trolley.

Our Runway East team enjoys a bunch of great benefits and unrivalled perks, from private healthcare to team trips abroad. We’ve also recently become a B Corp and think it’s important for our team to give a damn about its impact on the planet and its people.

Runway East has a strong brand, passionate customer base and most importantly, a product members genuinely love. Post-covid the way of working has been flipped upside down and the demand for flexibility is greater than ever. We’re ready to take full advantage of that.

Elevator Pitch: The Job. It’s a great job. We promise.

This job is perfect for a creative Marketing Manager or an ambitious Marketing Executive looking to step up, with excellent project management skills and an appreciation of process.

You’ll help perfect the process by which we create all the marketing assets needed for a site launch, whilst also growing our brand presence via our social media accounts.

You will also have the support of freelance designers and copywriters and join the Marketing Lead and our Growth Marketing Manager.

Whilst no two days are the same, your key responsibilities will revolve around:

    • Project Management - Demonstrable experience with project management and meeting deadlines - added bonus if you can demonstrate experience working with freelancers.
    • An eye for design - While you may not be a designer, you will have a good eye for design, can understand the boundaries of brand guidelines and know what good looks like.
    • Good copywriter - While we’re not looking for Orwell, the ability to write content in line with a given brief that is engaging, hits its purpose and is void of any spelling or grammatical errors is imperative.
    • Good critic - As above, you’ll have plenty of scope to use freelancers for design and copywriting. You should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of how to proof delivered content and give constructive feedback to enable external resources to hit their briefs.
    • Process oriented - You’ll demonstrate confidence in using existing systems and processes. Bonus points for proactively looking at ways to improve the existing set up.
    • Social media knowledge - Confident in your understanding of core social media channels (Linkedin, Meta and X primarily) with a general understanding of how to engage with different audiences on different platforms.
    • Data literate - Should be able to demonstrate an understanding of basic reporting metrics and should be able to give examples of where you have made data driven decisions.

This role is 9 - 6, Monday - Friday, with x3 days in office per week.

Requirements

Who You Are:

    • Project Management - You have experience with (and love!) project management and meeting deadlines
    • An eye for design - You’re (probably) not a designer but you have a good eye for it, can understand the boundaries of brand guidelines and know what good looks like. Bonus points if you know your way around inDesign.
    • Good copywriter - We’re not expecting Dolly Alderton, but you have the ability to write engaging content in line briefs that hits its purpose and is void of any spelling or grammatical errors. You’ll be writing copy for the website, socials, site collateral such as brochures and for email marketing campaigns.
    • Process oriented - You are computer literate and confident in using existing systems and processes. We’d also love it if you’re the sort of person who proactively finds ways to improve the existing set up.
    • Social media knowledge - You’re confident on social media (Linkedin, Meta and X primarily) and have a general idea on how to engage with different audiences on different platforms, and how to measure your success.

We see the good in everyone. We celebrate our differences.

We keep community at our core, and we know that a community can only thrive when it is diverse and inclusive. We welcome people from all backgrounds and experiences, whatever your race, religion, status, sexuality, gender identity, age, appearance or disability. There is no set blueprint for a Runway East team member. What matters to us is your spirit.
