Frontline is a venture capital firm with team members in London, Dublin, Palo Alto, and New York. We invest in B2B software companies in Europe and the US, and have raised funds over the past decade. We're creating a new Investor Relations function and making our first hire! To learn more about our team, take a look at www.frontline.vc/team

This role involves (a) managing relationships with current fund investors (known as LPs) and (b) helping Frontline’s partners to attract new LPs. This is not an investing role.

Deadline:

Please submit your application by 16th February.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with the Frontline partners to define an Investor Relations strategy.
  • Map the universe of potential LPs to create a prioritised prospect database and develop an approach to engage these investors.
  • Build a scalable process for managing existing and prospective investors.
  • Serve as the primary contact for events such as Annual General Meetings and investor summits.
  • Make first contact with potential fund investors and manage their onboarding process.

The ideal candidate has:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a relevant role, though we're open-minded about the type/duration of work experience. We could imagine a lawyer, consultant, banker, project manager, data analyst or enterprise sales person having the right skills. So if the role excites you, don’t let your current title or our role description hold you back!
  • Project management experience. This person will manage hundreds of investor relationships at various stages of engagement.
  • Analytical software skills. Comfort with common software tools (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint, CRM) is essential. Technical or data analysis skills would be an advantage.
  • Communication skills. The role involves dealing with large investors and the ideal candidate would be highly skilled at communicating and telling Frontline’s story.
  • Relationship skills. The right person will have a high EQ and be adept at cultivating investor relationships over long periods of time. This is not a transactional sales role.
  • Familiarity with Venture Capital or Private Equity is less important than an interest in our business and hunger to learn.

Location:

This is a full-time opportunity based in our London office. While remote work is common at Frontline, expect to be at the office 3-4 days per week in your first year to facilitate onboarding and training.

Reporting line:

Report to one of Frontline’s General Partners.
