What is Flash Pack?

When was the last time you made a new friend? Friendship profoundly improves our emotional wellbeing, sense of belonging, purpose and happiness. Everyone wants more human connection but making new friends is really hard. That’s why we exist, with a mission to create one million meaningful friendships across the globe, using the power of travel and technology as a platform for connection.

We are Flash Pack – curated group adventures for solo travellers.

International demand for solo travel is starting to boom once again – and Flash Pack is here to lead the charge of a growing global movement. To fulfil this mission, we’re expanding our team with some of the best talent around.

A remote-first, well-capitalisedstart-up, we are backed by founders, investors and entrepreneurs who have built multi-billion dollar companies. We are looking for innovative thinkers and doers to join our team on a mission to tackle the loneliness epidemic and help everyone connect with new friends.

The Role:

Reporting into the Performance Marketing Lead, we’re looking for a passionate and experienced PPC Specialist to play an important role in our success story and be a main contributor to our aim to drive 100% growth in 2024 through owning all PPC activity.

In this UK based, remote-flexible position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing PPC strategies that contribute significantly to our ambitious marketing and business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ previous experience launching and optimising campaigns in Google Ads, undertaking keyword research and identifying opportunities to expand campaigns, a deep understanding of the relationship between PPC and SEO, and the ability to create compelling ad copy that aligns with a brand's tone of voice.

Requirements:

  • You want to work both autonomously and collaboratively, alongside a supportive and talented Growth squad and wider Marketing team, to drive real growth month-on-month.

  • You put the customer first, and use data and insights to constantly iterate and improve the way we market our products to new and existing customers.

  • You have a growth mindset, and want everything you do to set the benchmark.

Results you’ll drive:

  • Working closely alongside the Performance Marketing Lead, you’ll strategically manage Flash Pack’s PPC campaigns, continually innovating to maintain our position as a leader in the travel industry.

  • Your goal is not just to sustain a strong presence for relevant searches but to always push the boundaries, injecting creativity into our campaigns to make Flash Pack stand out.

  • Our current primary focus is on Google Ads, including YouTube and Demand Gen, and you’ll lead on the expansion into other PPC platforms this year.

  • Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and maximise Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) by keeping a close eye on campaigns and ensuring ongoing optimisations.

  • Test and iterate on ad creatives, ad assets, and landing pages to drive improvements.

  • Identify opportunities for new campaigns and for expanding our reach, by conducting comprehensive keyword research, to ensure our presence in relevant search spaces.

  • Write engaging and impactful ad copy that aligns with the brand's tone of voice, collaborating closely with our in-house copywriters so we continue to have consistency across all marketing touchpoints.

  • Close collaboration with the SEO function to ensure ongoing synergy between PPC and SEO strategies, and proactively leverage insights from our SEO efforts to inform and enhance PPC campaigns.

  • Analyse campaign performance data and regularly share valuable insights, learnings, and performance reports with the broader Marketing team and other stakeholders.

  • Use data-driven insights to make recommendations for campaign optimisations and to identify future opportunities for improvement.

  • Identify opportunities and align campaign objectives and messaging through collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams including Product, PR, Social, and Sales.

  • Stay informed about trends in the solo travel industry and proactively adjust strategies to align with emerging opportunities.

  • Stay updated on platform changes and embrace new features to incorporate them into campaign strategies, ensuring our approach remains innovative and effective.

You’ll do this in line with our company values.

This is a Remote Flexible role meaning that while it is contracted to the London office there is flexibility to work from home the majority of the time.

This role will be a great fit if you have:

We’re after the right person. If you don’t quite hit all the criteria, you should still apply based on hitting the majority. Your experience, skills and passion will set you apart so tell us about your achievements, irrespective of whether they are personal or work-related, tell us about your journey, and about what you learnt.

So, if this role excites you, don't let our role description hold you back, get applying!

  • Proven success managing PPC campaigns that contribute to business objectives in a fast-paced startup B2C environment.

  • An understanding of, and interest in, the travel industry and experience researching keywords to capitalise on any gaps, maximise efficiencies, and ensure we claim as much relevant space on SERPs as possible.

  • A drive to always achieve better results, and if you’re excited by the opportunity to join a culture focused on continuous testing, experimentation, and a relentless pursuit of improvement in our strategies.

  • A strong understanding of SEO principles and how they impact PPC strategies.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting, and the ability to share concise and actionable insights and make informed decisions based on results.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Great attention to detail.

  • Google Ads certification is a plus.

Sound good? Then join our mission to create one million friendships through group adventure – and a friendly and energetic global team on the cusp of worldwide expansion.
