Role Summary

  • Play a vital role in choosing and supervising projects aimed at preventing youth violence.
  • Carry out critical assessments of funding applications, scrutinise delivery plans and budgets, and make recommendations to our senior leadership.
  • Manage relationships with grantees and ensure all funded activities meet our evaluation standards, particularly in terms of conducting feasible randomized controlled trials.

Role Requirements

  • Experience in the youth sector, policing, education, community engagement, or criminal justice is preferred, but not essential.
  • Strong project management skills, exceptional judgment, and the ability to effectively handle complex problems and stakeholder relationships are mandatory.
  • While not compulsory, experience in conducting randomized controlled trials is beneficial.

Additionally, you will manage relationships with grantees and ensure that funded activities meet evaluation standards, particularly focusing on the feasibility of conducting randomized controlled trials.

Job Requirements: We seek candidates from diverse backgrounds, possibly with experience in the youth sector, policing, criminal justice, education, or community engagement. While experience in conducting randomized controlled trials is beneficial, it is not mandatory. You should possess strong project management skills, excellent judgment, and the ability to handle complex problems and stakeholder relationships effectively.
