Role Summary
- Leading a team of 16 engineers to enhance product offerings and customer experience.

Role Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in leadership.
- Proficiency in Front-End JavaScript frameworks like Angular, Python, and eagerness to learn about Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, AWS, SQL.
- Technical expertise to influence significant decisions and comfortably navigate ambiguous problems with high autonomy.

The role As the Head of Software Engineering at Urban Jungle, you will lead a team of 16 engineers and collaborate across the company to enhance our product offerings and customer experience. You will start by integrating with an existing team to quickly understand our technology stack and begin contributing to our projects. Your responsibilities will include developing our engineering strategy, managing daily operations of the engineering team, and overseeing key processes and technology areas. You will also be involved in launching new products, integrating partners, and making platform-wide enhancements.
Job requirements We are looking for someone with at least 4 years of professional experience in software engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership and management role. Proficiency in Front-End JavaScript frameworks like Angular, Python, and a willingness to learn about Front-End/UX design, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, AWS, and SQL is essential. You should be able to use your technical expertise to influence significant decisions and comfortably handle ambiguous problems with high autonomy.
