The role: You will be the frontline in helping customers understand the benefits of small group adventure travel with Explore. Focused on increasing revenue through our sales through service mantra, you will strive to convert at the highest level all lines of enquiry. Key responsibilities include maximizing sales opportunities via all channels, actively chasing all personal and assigned leads, using sound judgement to manage difficult situations, and responding promptly to the needs of the customer. You will work in various contact channels, including phone, email, live chat, and social media.

Job requirements: We are looking for candidates with previous experience in a sales or customer service role, who are driven and thirsty to sell and achieve targets. You should have a passion for sustainable, adventure travel, be enthusiastic, and have a strong desire to exceed customer expectations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, accuracy, quality, and attention to detail are essential. Being a strong team player is also important.

Benefits: This role is based in Farnborough, Hampshire with 2 days per week in the office. Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking. This is a full-time position, however, work-life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week). Salary: £25,000 + bonus + commission. Opportunity to travel to overseas destinations to gain product knowledge. Working hours will be on a rota basis, including some weekends.
