Role Summary

  • Lead the execution of business-wide critical paths for product lifecycle management.

Role Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years in Programme and Project Management, preferably within omni-channel retail.
  • Experience with product development and strategic project delivery.
  • Proficient in agile/lean methodologies and change management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, and ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Remote collaboration experience and a passion for building a positive company culture.

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our team. Reporting into the CEO, we are looking for a strategic and results driven Programme and Project Manager to lead in the efficient execution of our business wide critical path and key projects. This role will ensure we hit the right timelines, with the right people and resources, to achieve our organisational business growth goals. You will be passionate about delivering projects on time and ensuring they are set up for ongoing success.

Passenger is an agile and lean, mostly remote organisation where collaborative tools such as Airtable, Miro, Google Suite and Google Chat, as well as knowing the right time to pick up the phone, play an important role in how we manage the organisation and deliver projects.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and oversee a holistic business-wide critical path for our product lifecycle; ensuring that we have the right forums, activities and timelines to meet the broader business needs and then continually monitor, review, iterate and improve this programme with all stakeholders.

  • Deliver and run selected key strategic projects.
  • Oversee, manage and communicate on projects and programmes across the business.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to programme and project timelines, encouraging flexibility, adaptability and resilience.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, providing transparent communication on project progress and aligning outcomes with the business goals.
  • Implement best practices for agile/lean project management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, test, learn and iterate where and when necessary.
  • Help organise and lead project kickoff meetings, regular project reviews, milestone celebrations, retrospective sessions, and cross-functional collaboration team meetings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Programme and Project Management, preferably in a high growth environment and in omni-channel retail businesses.
  • Proven experience in working with product development critical paths and on delivering key strategic projects and programme/project management controls within businesses.
  • Strong working knowledge of agile/lean project/programme delivery methodologies, change management techniques with a passion for iterative delivery of complex projects and fostering a culture of testing and learning.
  • Highly organised, with excellent communication, influencing, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, both locally and remote, with cross-functional teams and a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience of working on apparel critical paths will be advantage.

  • Typical Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm (3 days a week) but open to flexible working hours
  • Location: Hybrid Remote with preferably minimum 1 day a week at HQ and will attend monthly company-wide meetings at HQ.
