Job Overview
We are searching for a dynamic and experienced Freelance Learning Designer and Facilitator to support our internal Learning team in the development and delivery of a cutting-edge digital leadership programme. This role involves crafting engaging e-learning content and facilitating live workshops to empower leaders with the necessary digital competencies and strategic vision. If you are passionate about instructional design, facilitation, and shaping leaders for success in the digital age, we invite you to join our team.
Responsibilities
Curriculum Development: Design and develop course content (both Elearning and Live Learning) that includes up-to-date case studies, tools, and strategies in digital transformation, AI, and data analytics, ensuring learners can apply these in their leadership roles: we have the following sessions scoped out for build however there are more module being discussed internally as we plan to build out this type of content- 1 x eLearning Module (hosted on our LXP, 60-90 minutes)
Navigating Digital Leadership: This e-learning module provides leaders with a foundational understanding of digital leadership principles, equipping them with the knowledge to make strategic decisions in the fast-paced digital landscape
- 2 x Custom Live Workshops built using Google Slides (2 hours each, face-to-face or via webinar)
Strategic Data Utilisation and Data-Driven Leadership: This session will support leaders to harness the power of data to drive informed decision-making and cultivate a data-driven culture, ensuring sustainable growth and competitiveness.
2. Leveraging AI for Business Growth and Productivity
This session offers insights and strategies for using artificial intelligence to enhance productivity and efficiency as well as optimising workflows.
- Incorporate practical examples and hands-on exercises that demonstrate the real-world application of AI and data analytics in business settings.
- Create dynamic and interactive materials that align with adult learning principles, fostering an engaging and effective online learning experience.
- Tailor content and delivery methods to meet the specific needs and goals of different leadership levels within the organisation.
- Collaborate with the internal learning team to ensure alignment with TOV and branding
- Work collaboratively with our in-house learning designers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure program coherence and success.
- Integrate various technologies and tools to enhance the overall learning experience, ensuring content is current and aligned with industry best practices.
- Develop assessments to measure the understanding and application of digital leadership concepts
Technical and Subject Matter Expertise requirements(content development and facilitation are required in the following areas):
Digital Leadership Mastery: Candidates should possess a deep understanding of digital transformation and leadership principles. This includes familiarity with the latest trends in digital technology, digital strategy development, and the ability to convey these concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.
Artificial Intelligence Application: Prospective candidates must demonstrate expertise in artificial intelligence and its application in business growth. This includes knowledge of AI strategies, tools, and case studies that showcase how AI can improve productivity, efficiency, and innovation within organisations.
Data-Driven Decision-Making: An essential requirement is the ability to educate leaders on harnessing data analytics for strategic decision-making. This includes expertise in data analysis tools, methodologies, and practices that drive a data-driven culture, supporting sustainable growth and competitiveness.
Live Workshop Facilitation:
- Foster an interactive and collaborative learning environment during live sessions, adapting facilitation style to meet the diverse needs of participants.
- Facilitate live workshops, providing leaders with practical insights and strategies for immediate application.
- Collect participant feedback to continuously enhance and improve the learning experience.
What does a successful candidate look like for the programme?
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree: A degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or a related field. For the technical aspects, degrees in Computer Science, Information Technology, and Business Administration with a focus on Information Systems, or Data Science can be highly relevant.
- Certifications in Digital Tools and Technologies: Certifications related to AI, data analytics, digital marketing, or project management tools (e.g., Google Analytics, AWS Certified Machine Learning, Certified ScrumMaster) can enhance a candidate's qualifications.
- Proven experience in designing and facilitating leadership development programs, particularly in the digital domain.
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms, instructional design methodologies, and adult learning principles.
- Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
