Role Summary

  • Lead the monthly payroll process in collaboration with Finance, using Pento.
  • Handle all aspects of people administration from onboarding to exit.
  • Support and maintain policies for productive employee relations aligned with legislation.
  • Assist in performance management and recognition culture.
  • Coordinate training and development alongside external providers.
  • Participate in bi-annual salary review processes.
  • Support employee relations cases in accordance with Company policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement of People Ops processes.
  • Support general office administration and reception coverage as needed.

Role Requirements

  • Previous experience in managing people experience administration.
  • Proficient with HRIS systems, preferably Hibob, and payroll processes, ideally Pento.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize a diverse workload.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in fostering an inclusive work environment and driving culture initiatives.

We have an incredible opportunity for a People Coordinator to join our People Squad; we are looking for a People Coordinator who can help build and foster a high-energy and empowering culture. As a People Coordinator, you will play an integral part in ensuring that our people experience is first-class and aligned with our values. You will lead our monthly payroll  process through Pento, working closely with our Finance team, be a key player in our salary review process, have the natural ability to interpret data into stories and be the go-to person for all people administration.

Reporting to the People Operations Manager, you will work closely with the wider team to deliver a pro-active, first-class people experience to drive and support high-performance delivery. The role will suit someone operating at a coordinator level who has had a taste of a People role and is ready for the next step. The Day to Day: 

People Admin & Operations

  • Efficiently lead monthly payroll processes utilising our payroll platform, Pento. 
  • Manage all people's administration from onboarding through to exit. 
  • Effectively support, develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure productive employee relations conversations are consistently maintained in accordance with legislation and best practices
  • Support Lyst’s performance management philosophy/practices to embed a continuous feedback and recognition culture through coaching, advice and training
  • Aid with training and development opportunities for the business and coordinate training with external providers
  • Assist with coordinating our bi-annual salary review process using relevant salary benchmarking data in line with our compensation approach
  • Support, where necessary, both informal and formal employee relations cases in line with our Company policies and ACAS best practice guidelines
  • Seek to continuously improve People Ops processes and procedures to provide synergy, efficiency and effectiveness in our ways of working
  • Be an integral player in supporting ad-hoc people initiatives and projects across the business
  • Support our Office Manager with general office administration and cover reception as and when needed

Data & Analytics

  • Take ownership of administration relating to the People experience, ensuring accuracy in all our data and optimised functionality across platforms to ensure a smooth operational delivery and best-in-class service is provided to the business
  • Support the creation of robust and insightful people metrics that inform decision-making and influence change across the business
  • Support to the People Operations Director to translate data into compelling narratives, offering valuable insights to inform the People Strategy and People Team initiatives

Culture & DEI

  • Alongside our Senior People Advisor, champion our engagement platform, Office Vibe, to help develop strategies and programmes to boost employee engagement and satisfaction.  Use the data to identify areas for improvement and drive positive change around the business and within our corporate support function.
  • Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, family leave, off-boarding & exit interviews, with the support of our senior people advisor and wider People and Facilities function. 
  • Play a role with our DE&I committee, supporting all initiatives and helping to build and evolve a deserved and inclusive workplace.
  • Be a champion of our culture and a key player in helping to strengthen the Lyst culture through helping to implement unique people initiatives
  • Lead the Social Committee, ensuring that we create engaging and inclusive events that incorporate our values and culture.
  • Partner with the wider People Squad to embed our core values into everyday practices, behaviours, and people's experiences.

Requirements

  • Experience with owning the people experience administration from onboarding through to exit. 
  • Sound judgement and analytical skills to assess options and craft solutions while identifying and evaluating risks.
  • Experience using an HRIS system, building automated processes, and comfortable with building reports. Preferably Hibob.
  • Experience leading a payroll process and, ideally, exposure to Pento. 
  • Top-notch organisation skills with the ability to progress and prioritise a multi-faceted workload and manage systems and processes effectively.
  • A natural when it comes to building relationships at all levels, offering support and first-line advice authentically and meaningfully. 
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to identify and understand business needs.
  • A culture ambassador with a proven track record of successfully driving culture initiatives within a team and fostering an inclusive work environment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced business where change is an everyday occurrence.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement and employee engagement, helping maintain Lyst's unique culture.
