Our clients and team mean the world to us, and we are on the look out for a superstar Account Manager. We love an infectious personality, who can confidently and courteously manage and promote a portfolio of clients. You can shine creatively and imaginatively, helping brands grow using a variety of effective, innovative and measurable PR tactics.

An eye for detail, meticulous organisation, excellent copy writing skills, and strong media relationships are a must for this role. (If you ski and can speak French that's a bonus but not a deal breaker.)

Role responsibilities

·       Working closely with the team to develop strategic plans and direct media campaigns that raise awareness of the agency’s travel and ski clients.

·       Managing day-to-day relationships with allocated clients and develop PR tactics and events to meet agreed objectives.

·       Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, media, and travel industry contacts.

·       Monitoring the media including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites, and blogs for opportunities for clients.

·       Producing effective news releases and creative feature stories to promote clients’ reputations.

·       Writing and distributing news in briefs, press releases, and key information from clients.

·       Defining and pitching press trip angles for clients and managing trip logistics. 

·       Ensuring timely and relevant responses to all media information and image requests. 

·       Overseeing clients’ business objectives to ensure KPIs are delivered and expectations exceeded whilst keeping within agreed budgets.

·       Focusing on adding value through cost-effective and creative media campaigns, both online and offline.

·       Attending meetings and networking events to maximise media opportunities and boost agency profile.

·       Preparing regular client reports and attending client meetings.

·       Promoting Heaven Publicity and assisting the team in increasing its roster of leisure-related clients by researching and identifying new business opportunities.

·       Supporting with new client pitches 

·       Developing strong business ethic within the team by leading by example.

·       Helping develop and support social media campaigns for the agency and clients.

·       Assisting with the production of client and agency publications and collateral, such as in-house magazines / promotion when relevant.

Skills & Experience 

·       At least two years’ experience in travel PR (or similar)

·       Good awareness of the travel and leisure sector

·       Experience of media relations, pitching, writing press releases, and social media

·       The drive to be involved in some incredible campaigns

·       Excellent written and spoken English

·       Ability to speak another language (French / Spanish / Japanese) is desirable but not essential

·       Ability to juggle numerous requests and prioritise

·       Passion for travel and finding those stand-out stories

·       Attention to detail, and strong proof-reading skills

·       Confidence to get stuck in and take part in meetings / brainstorms

·       Ability to be flexible and self-sufficient

·       Top skills in IT and social media 

·       Work well in a team

·       An ability to look outside the box, and a great sense of humour.

·       Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with and relate to your clients and their businesses.
