It means delivering in partnership with key stakeholders, including system leaders, managers, frontline professionals, patients and carers, and wider communities; all to transform outcomes and lives.
Being an analyst at PPL involves:
- Working as part of a team on programmes and projects to deliver lasting change
- Developing core consulting skills with a focus on social impact
- Understanding and influencing the way organisations and systems work
- Building deep subject matter expertise in public sector, VCSE and wider delivery models
- Supporting existing client relationships and partnerships, and helping to foster new ones
- Being part of co-designing and evaluating innovation in public services
About the role
We offer a unique opportunity for people to develop and deploy management consultancy skills on a wide range of ground-breaking projects to improve outcomes with and for individuals and communities across the UK. The role is based in our London offices in SE1, and on client sites as required.
The salary starts at £31,500 per annum, plus an annual bonus scheme.
In addition, you will receive a benefits package including:

What we are looking for
PPL is focussed on delivering consistently excellent services to our clients and the communities they serve. Being at the cutting edge of public sector reform is not easy, and we are looking for individuals who have experience of successfully working in client or professional services roles, or who have undertaken relevant academic study in related fields.
The analyst role involves being able to rapidly process complex information and data and develop actionable insights and recommendations. It also involves working directly with other team members and clients, in multi-disciplinary settings, to support the end-to-end process of improving and changing services and systems; whether that is in the areas of technological innovation, organisational development, or most commonly a combination of the two.
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate with reference to existing experience their ability to respond to people, process and technological opportunities and challenges, to work proactively and as part of a team, and to make change happen.
Requirements include:
- Empathy and intellectual curiosity
- A passion for professional growth and development, both for themselves and others
- A strong academic record, with proven verbal reasoning, numeracy and writing skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a track record of successful teamwork
- Research and analytical skills, with an evidence-based approach to problem-solving
- Competence in key Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- The ability to take personal responsibility for making positive change happen

The process
PPL operates a blind recruitment process. Successfully shortlisted candidates can expect:
- An initial telephone interview (approx. 30 mins)
- Online aptitude tests
- An in-person panel interview inc. case study at PPL’s SE1 offices (approx. 2 hours)
- An in-person final interview
