We've recently made the transition to a remote-first business, however we've retained a HQ in central Brighton which is available for collaborative working and in-person meet-ups.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable SEO Manager to join our expanding SEO team. SEO is a key traffic driving channel for the business and we have exciting plans to grow the channel in 2024 and beyond.  

As an SEO Manager at TrustedHousesitters, you will work closely with the Head of SEO to plan and execute a robust SEO strategy that attracts and engages with new and existing customers.

• Collaborating with the Head of SEO to plan, develop and implement SEO strategy 
• Conduct key word research and competitor analysis
• Develop and implement an SEO A/B testing framework
• Experiment with AI tools and latest SEO techniques
• Technical SEO auditing and optimisation
• Monitor rankings, traffic and key SEO metrics
• Prepare and present performance reports for internal use
• Write keyword optimised web copy and metadata
• Action on-page SEO optimisations
• Outreach and link acquisition
• Document processes and share knowledge with the wider organisation
• Suggest improvements to current processes
• Work cross functionally with our marketing team - PR, Copywriters, Affiliate Marketing, Paid Marketing, Partnerships, Brand and Designers

We're looking to pay between £35k-£45k for this role.

Please note that although we are open to remote candidates, the successful candidate must have eligibility to work in the UK.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as SEO Manager or similar role 
• Experience of planning and implementing a successful SEO strategy
• Proven success in SEO 
• Experience using GA4 and Google Search Console
• Experience using SEO tools like Sitebulb, ScreamingFrog, SEMRush
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience working with a headless CMS
• Experience working with Product teams
• Expertise in A/B and other testing methods
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
