As Pledge’s first Product Marketing Manager (PMM) you will lead and develop the product marketing function, including building and executing the go-to-market strategy. You will create compelling messaging and feature benefits that lead to Pledge’s differentiators and resonate with our target audience while enabling our sales team.

As the PMM you will partner closely with our founders as well as product management, marketing and sales functions to understand the product strategy and fit, define use cases, understand competitive offerings and articulate value propositions for Pledge’s target verticals.

The role is based in London, UK, and reports to the Chief Product Officer.

This role is NOT for you if:

  • You are looking for a 9 to 5 job.

  • You have a low risk appetite and favour predictability over the uncertainty & high intensity environment of a startup.

You will build compelling messaging and own the strategic narrative through the lens of Pledge’s customer personas. You will excel at working across teams, partnering with our own product management, marketing, sales, and others to align product, releases, features and launches with both customer and prospect needs, enable marketing and commercial teams, and position successfully against the competition.

  • Work with Pledge’s Content Marketer to create a wide variety of high-impact marketing collateral and compelling sales content including web pages, sales presentations, product information, demo videos and more

  • A passionate product marketer with 6+ years B2B software product marketing experience

  • Proven ability to drive the go-to-market strategy and release readiness process with product management, marketing, sales and others

  • Ability to engage with and earn the respect of both deeply technical leaders, industry experts and business leaders alike

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to both internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to work cross-organisationally to align multiple stakeholders and teams, especially with Product Management, Marketing and Sales
