Role Summary

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to enhance CodexFit's brand and online presence.
  • Lead sales efforts, including cold calling, lead follow-ups, and engaging in social media and real-world events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects and current clients.
  • Manage marketing channels, focusing on LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Work with a designer to create compelling content for various platforms.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to target specific audiences.
  • Collaborate with the product team to promote new features and increase customer retention.
  • Refine the brand strategy and maintain a strong brand presence across all channels.
  • Identify new opportunities for market expansion and growth.

Role Requirements

  • Solid sales and marketing background, with a bonus for fitness or tech industry experience.
  • Demonstrated success in leading marketing campaigns.
  • Strategic planning skills with a long-term vision.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience with Instagram, LinkedIn, CMS, and preferably Google AdWords.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.

This opportunity is tailored for an ambitious individual eager to immerse themselves in the fast paced world of our startup, collaborating closely with the founders to promote  and elevate the brand. On a typical day, you'll:

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies aligned with CodexFit's brand objectives, ensuring a dynamic online presence and resonance with our target audience.
  • Lead sales initiatives including calling (both cold calling, and following up warm leads), emailing, website and social posts, and real-world events/expos.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new business prospects and current clients
  • Oversee the day to day operation of our  marketing channels, with a primary emphasis on LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Create content alongside a designer for web, socials and paid media
  • Analyse data and market trends, dive deep into consumer behaviour, utilising analytical tools to create detailed customer personas. Tailor marketing initiatives to effectively target specific market segments, fostering a deeper connection with our audience.
  • Collaborate with the product team to introduce new features that will drive sales and sustain customer retention.
  • Spearhead efforts to uphold a robust and consistent brand presence. Constantly refine and position our brand strategy competitively across all marketing channels, ensuring compelling and unified brand narrative.
  • Proactively identify and capitalise on opportunities to expand market share. Develop strategies to reach new market segments, driving sustained growth and market relevance.

Skills & qualifications we're looking for:

  • Proven sales and marketing experience. It would be a plus if you have worked in the fitness or tech industry, too, or have experience working on a SaaS platform.
  • Demonstrate a track record of orchestrating successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strategic thinker – from the present to 12 months down the line, you can create a marketing plan that gets us ahead.
  • Excellent communication skills both managing internal stakeholders, new business prospects and existing clients.
  • Team management experience – you won’t have direct reports but you’ll work with a designer creating content, a lead generation team who does outbound  and the product team to share feedback you’re hearing.
  • Experience with posting to Instagram, LinkedIn, updating a website via a content management system and a plus if you have Google AdWords experience. 
  • Hold full working rights in the UK.

What to expect:

  • 1st month – Get to know our team and the platform. You’ll be on all sales calls getting to hear about how we talk about the platform and you’ll get your own version of CodexFit to experiment with as you learn the ins and outs of the platform. It’s really important for us that you know the platform well. 
  • 2nd month – You’ll start to create a marketing plan considering resources at your disposal from lead generation to content on socials and  getting our name out there. Continued platform learning will also still be important. 
  • 3rd month – You’ll work on executing your plan and start to direct the efforts of the lead generation team we already have working on outreach. You’ll share regular updates with the product team and CEO to keep stakeholders informed.

  • Hybrid work (2 office, 3 WFH) - we come to our Tottenham Court Road, London office on Wednesdays and Fridays and are WFH other days (2 minute walk from Goodge Street, 3 minutes from Warren St and 7 minutes from TCR and 10 minutes from Euston)

  • Base salary plus bonuses for new-client wins as well as retention of existing clients.

Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 depending on experience + bonuses.

Start date: immediate

Recruitment process:

  1. You’ll have a call with our Ops Director
  2. If you progress, you’ll be asked to share an example marketing plan – this can be an existing one or one you create
  3. Upon reviewing the marketing plan, if satisfactory, then you’ll present this in person and have an interview with the CEO and Ops Director
