Role Requirements

  • 5-7 years of Merchandising experience with a track record of commercial success.
  • Deep understanding of online fashion industry dynamics and trends.
  • Advanced data analysis skills, including proficiency with v-lookups, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
  • Expertise in assortment planning, seasonal readiness, and inventory management.
  • Prior experience in the off-price fashion segment is advantageous.
  • Experience with a fashion buying role is a plus.
  • Experience in online visual merchandising is beneficial.

Your impact

Otrium is seeking a Senior Merchandiser to bring a buyer’s mindset to our dynamic off-price concessions business. This strategic role requires an individual with extensive merchandising experience and a keen eye for commercially sound inventory management. You'll leverage advanced data analysis skills to optimise our assortment, ensuring fast sell-through, healthy margins, efficient inventory turns, and reduced stock age. You’ll report into the Director  of Partnerships and collaborate closely with multiple teams such as Marketing, Product and Pricing. You'll develop a winning strategy to get the right stock in, facilitate our growth, enhance visibility of strategic inventory while at the same time clearing out long-tail items, thereby driving platform profitability. Your responsibilities


  • Implement dynamic, data-driven strategies to ensure fast inventory turnover in a commercially sound way
  • Oversee seasonal readiness at website and category level, ensuring timely updates and seamless transitions
  • Orchestrate a strategy for proactively exiting slow-moving stock, employing multiple methods such as pricing adjustments, liquidation etc.
  • Utilise data analytics and market knowledge to make informed assortment decisions, enhancing stock intake and ensuring we always are in stock of the fundamental core assortment that our customers want
  • Develop merchandising guidelines for new stock intake, aligning with market trends and commercial viability while working within the constraints of the off-price inventory world
  • Elevate platform appeal by improving assortment visibility and relevance on website and app
  • Foster consistent communication and collaboration across key teams (Marketing, Partnerships, Pricing) to ensure aligned goals and a unified approach.

What you’ll bring to the team:


  • 5-7 years of experience in a Merchandising role with a proven track record of commercial success
