Role Summary
- Create compelling, intelligent, and brand-aligned copy across various marketing touchpoints.
- Collaborate with editorial and partnerships teams to develop and maintain Lyst's unique tone of voice.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and swiftly develop pitch documents and concepts.
- Research subject matter to ensure accuracy and cleverly integrate Lyst's fashion data insights into copy.
- Work on multiple projects with tight deadlines, demonstrating exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Role Requirements
- Proven commercial copywriting experience with a flair for creativity and a passion for fashion.

- Knowledgeable about fashion brands, online fashion shopping, and the surrounding culture.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content management systems, ideally WordPress.
- Basic skills in Adobe Photoshop and social media platforms.

We are looking for a Creative Copywriter with relevant, commercial copywriting experience to join our Brand team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a mark in a small but high-performing team, building a unique fashion content offering in an extremely fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate is a skilled, fashion-literate writer who is both creative and commercial. Building on Lyst’s unique brand positioning in the market, your copy will strengthen and articulate our distinct tone of voice, representing the intelligence and integrity of our brand across all touchpoints.
Working across our editorial and partnerships teams, you will support with creative content ideation and development of all supporting marketing assets, from pitch to content development and distribution across channels. This is an amazing opportunity for a writer to help shape Lyst’s exciting new content platform, developing industry-leading new franchises and partnering with fashion’s biggest brands.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver intelligent, concise and quality copy, often to short deadlines
- Work closely with editorial and partnerships teams to establish and cement Lyst’s new tone of voice across different brand and marketing touchpoints
- Work alongside Content Editor to balance demands of branded content projects alongside our overall editorial strategy, respecting and incorporating partner feedback where required
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions, swiftly writing up compelling pitch documents and developing concepts in response to client briefs
- Collaborate across teams to produce all relevant copy and materials needed for Lyst content and campaigns
- Research your subject matter to ensure the quality and accuracy of your copy, deftly incorporating Lyst fashion data insights when required
Requirements
- A committed writer with a love for crafting copy that is memorable, surprising and highly intelligent. Understand the nuance and tone that will set Lyst’s language apart
- Commercial copywriting experience, with the ability to succinctly sum up and sell through your choice of words
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Respect and passion for our space: inherently knowledgeable and curious about fashion brands, online fashion shoppers and the culture that supports the system
- An optimistic, creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box, generating innovative campaigns and storytelling ideas that only Lyst could produce
- Understanding of SEO best practices
- Experience using Content Management Systems, ideally WordPress
- Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop
- Experience working with social media
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects at a time, with exceptional time management skills, working to tight deadlines
