Role Summary

The role - what the role entails: As a Finance Operations Partner, you will be deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of the finance department. Your primary responsibilities will include owning the finance operations across the group, which encompasses accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), billing, reconciliations, and cash tracking. You will ensure accurate and timely month-end close processes, support management accounts, and reporting. Additionally, you will maintain and enhance financial controls, processes, and documentation. Collaboration with the Operations, Commercial, and People and Culture teams will be essential to ensure clean data flow and minimize surprises.
Job requirements - any requirements mentioned: Candidates should have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an MBA. A minimum of 4 years of management experience in operational finance and accounting is required. Proficiency in Xero and strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets are essential. Experience in fast-paced, imperfect environments and comfort working without perfect information or layers of sign off are also necessary.
