Role Summary

The King's Trust is excited to offer an opportunity to join our team as a Youth Development Lead in Employability, based in Birmingham. This role is pivotal in supporting young people to overcome barriers and achieve positive outcomes in work, education, or training.

The role: As a Youth Development Lead, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one support and guidance to young people, helping them to engage in our programs effectively. You will work closely with our Outreach, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process. Your duties will include removing barriers for young people, assisting with travel expenses, and liaising with employers and partners like job centres to support the young people's success. Additionally, you will deliver employability sessions and support our delivery partners and volunteers in doing the same, both in-person and virtually.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate will be a proactive and dedicated individual who is passionate about making a difference in young people's lives. You will need to be ready to travel for in-person program delivery and visits, and capable of maintaining meticulous records to comply with our funding contracts.
