The role: As a Youth Development Lead - Enterprise, you will play a crucial role in the success stories of young entrepreneurs. The Enterprise programme is designed to assist young people interested in self-employment to explore and test their ideas, write business plans, and start their own businesses or achieve alternative outcomes in education, training, volunteering, or work. You will guide a caseload of young people, helping them to launch their business ideas and achieve business start targets. Your responsibilities will include traveling locally to deliver our Exploring Enterprise course, which may be online, in-centre, or in the community.
Job requirements: You should be adept at crafting robust business plans, including cash flow forecasts and personal survival budgets, and providing sector-specific insights. Your ability to offer positive and constructive feedback will help nurture these business ideas. Experience in handling funding applications is also essential.
