We are looking for a Software Development Team Lead to join our delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the discovery team during and after client discovery sessions to come up with the most effective solutions for client projects. You will be architecting and implementing client solutions, ensuring that security, maintainability, scalability, and technical debt have a consistent and maintainable approach.

You will be building responsive, performant, and standards-compliant web pages and components using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant libraries and framework. You will also be responsible for writing clean testable, and well-documented back- and front-end code, configuring and maintaining deployment pipelines, and managing our cloud environments.

You will be working closely with Project Managers and Product Owners to produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery. You will be responsible for delivering projects on budget, on time, to requirements, and with high quality. You will also be responsible for line management and personal development of a team of skilled developers.

Our ideal candidate will have been working in a development lead role for at least 2 years and have experience in an agency or outsourcing environment. You will have demonstrable experience of working and leading development teams in an agency environment, delivering for multiple clients and projects simultaneously. You will also have experience of writing back-end code in C# (essential), JavaScript, PHP, and/or similar languages.

We offer a salary of £45-55k (pro-rata for part-time roles) depending on experience. Salaries are reviewed each and every month by the board. We also offer 38 day's holiday (30 days' leave + 8 bank holidays, pro-rata for part-time roles), private healthcare, monthly team socials and an annual summer party, a £300 training and wellness budget to spend on anything you like, and flexible working, allowing you the autonomy to choose where and when you work.
