  • Ensure seamless operations by managing projects, automating workflows, and maintaining databases.

We are looking for a Technical Support Associate to join Targeted Provision on a permanent and hybrid basis, providing administrative support to our team in our mission of supporting the UK’s vulnerable children and young people.

At Targeted Provision our mission is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK.

We work with schools and local authorities to provide specialist tutors and mentors for children and young people with additional educational needs.

We also support mentoring and engagement / re-engagement for young people in need of Alternative Provision. We believe that with the right support and role model in their lives, every child can grow in confidence and succeed in learning.

What we offer our Technical Support Associate:

  • £25,000 - £26,000 p/a FTE

The Technical Support Associate role:

  • Participate in projects to implement improvements to internal processes and create efficient workflows.
  • Build automated workflows and document field dependencies.
  • Build data collection forms and integrate them with our database.
  • Take an active role in identifying inefficiencies or risks and implement solutions as appropriate
  • Maintain databases, including creating and updating records, maintaining data quality, and performing regular backups to ensure data security and accessibility.
  • Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues as needed.
  • Provide technical support to our tutors and external stakeholders, including troubleshooting issues with online lessons, data collection forms and online portals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical support, and make recommendations for process improvements as needed.
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and information security by adhering to relevant policies.

You

We are looking for someone who is exceptionally organised with a keen eye for detail, who is also passionate about making an impact in the lives of young people. You’ll be keen to get stuck in, learn quickly, and take on new challenges.

  • Previous experience with automation software such as Make (Integromat) and Zapier.
  • Previous experience in technical support, with experience using apps like Zoom, Airtable, Google (G-Suite).
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, database management software, and networking protocols.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of GDPR regulations and other data protection laws.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
