We are Self Space, a contemporary mental health service offering a good conversation with a qualified person. We support individuals and some of the most progressive, industry-leading global companies to reach their potential. After launching the world’s first on-demand mental health service right on the High Street in Shoreditch, London, we are now expanding and opening up a brand new three-room location in the middle of Soho.

The role entails providing the highest standard of in-person short and long-term interventions. You will need to be digitally competent and administratively rigorous across note keeping and diary management. You will also be in regular supervision (external) and internal group supervision provided. You will have the capacity to work autonomously within BACP, HCPC and other recognised ethical frameworks.

Job requirements include being registered with appropriate regulatory/governing body (HCPC, BACP etc.), having a minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience, having proof of Public Liability Insurance, and having good knowledge of calendar, mail and booking systems. You should also have the ability to challenge outdated and rigid approaches to therapy whilst upholding the highest clinical standards, and be versatile and flexible in your approach therapy. You should also have current Enhanced Children and Adult DBS Clearance (or be willing to undergo this).

Benefits of working with us include group supervision, professional financial planning services from Bippit, peer support groups and skill-sharing sessions with the best in the industry, regular CPD and opportunities for development with some of the UK’s leading specialists, progression opportunities to clinical lead roles, PAYE and workshop delivery, Self Space Pals (1:1 peer support), Self Care tokens (massages, pottery classes, yoga and more), and social events.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and we are dedicated to building an inclusive, affirmative and diverse team. We particularly welcome applications from those who are underrepresented within the field of Psychotherapy in the UK, including LGBTQIA+ and global majority communities.
