Role Summary
- Manage Chessable MoveTrainerā¢ content design and post-publication services.
- Conduct textual revisions, proofreading, and beta-testing guidance.
- Make editorial decisions and create engaging chess puzzles.
- Correct grammar mistakes and localize content between English and French.
- Work with PGN and CBV files and collaborate with authors to enhance courses.
- Ensure quality assurance of PGN files.
Role Requirements
- Fluency in both English and French, with Spanish or German as a plus.
- Basic chess playing ability.
- Active Chessable account usage is preferred.
- Keen interest in contemporary chess culture.

We have an exciting opportunity for a bilingual Content Editor to join our chess platform team. We are looking for someone proficient in editing content in both English and French.Ā
Ā Responsibilities
- You will work on the Chessable MoveTrainerTM content design and maintaining services post-publication
- Textual revisionsĀ
- Proofreading
- Beta-testing guidance
- Make editorial decisions
- Create chess puzzles
- Correct grammar mistakes
- Localize content from English to French and vice versa
- Work with PGN and CBV filesĀ
- Work with authors and collaborate closely with them to improve their courses
- Perform quality assurance over PGN files
Requirements
- Excellent written and spoken communication in English and French is mandatory. Knowledge of Spanish or German is a plus.
- Ability to play Chess (no requirement to be a strong player)
- Having a Chessable account and using it on a regular basis is a plus
- Active interest in chess and chess culture today is a plus
