ABOUT THE ROLE
The Junior Creative Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all the briefs that come into the creative team, assisting on producing shoots, and then delivering all assets to channel owners, on time and on budget. You are the “right hand human” to our Content Director – allowing them to focus on constantly delivering exceptional creative by keeping the department running smoothly. You oversee the online briefing system, you resource the creative team effectively, you work cross functionally to ensure that all brief owners know the status of the projects, you schedule appropriate feedback and approval meetings, you assist with production on shoots and you deliver beautiful work that drives the business.
Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Resourcing:
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues across the business to build robust project resource plans and think laterally about resource solutions on all projects. Including working on our resource management platform to make sure work is allocated and on track.
- Proactive in checking in with project leads on live projects regularly, coordinating project timelines and ensuring all work is on track
- Lead a weekly creative studio meeting to manage the allocation and scheduling of resources across a team of 5 on all projects and initiatives.
Project Management/Production:
- Manage all the briefs that come through the creative studio, ensuring briefs are thorough and highlight all key outcomes.
- Identify and highlight issues in the flow of projects through the studio and ensure issues (e.g. people, speed, productivity) are resolved.
- Play a pivotal role in the everyday studio support; assist team members with project requests, sourcing items, pulling together archive material, being aware of what is happening and when, for all studio projects.
- Assisting in pre-production, production and post-production of shoots. Including things like catering, casting, booking travel and any other support needed across local shoots. Assisting with shoot preparation and providing general ad hoc support.
Finance:
- Managing expenses, invoicing and purchase orders for local shoots and anything that comes through the creative studio.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO FINISTERRE
- You are an organisational legend – you always know where a project is and when it’s due to be delivered.
- A love of process and clear communication.
- Knowledge and experience of basic project management principles, as well as with working with online PM tools (eg, Trello, jira, asana etc…)
- A strong sense of personal responsibility – you own your work and are excellent at managing up, down and across.
- 2+ years’ experience working in brand-led businesses within production or project management.
- Passion, energy and aspiration in line with Finisterre values, products, brand and customers
- Excellent self-awareness, communication and interpersonal skills
- Thrives on positive change and able to manage self and others under pressure
- Willingness to own and drive your personal development plan, and open to asking for and accepting feedback on performance
Ideal, but not essential:
- Has previously had experience with invoicing or lodging expenses.
- Has previously had experience with shoot production.
- Understanding of the adobe suite.
