Volunteer Income Generation, Sponsorship and bid writer

What will you be doing?

Participation and engagement lead with the Board, around income generation and creating other income streams other than box office. Bid-Writer. Representing BBCF through networking opportunities with key external stakeholders Working with the Treasurer and fundraising team to develop four major annual events for fundraising and awareness building of the BBCF Build sponsorship partnerships with external stakeholders and parties Working with the fundraising team and the wider committee to explore new avenues for income generation.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking to appoint a person with specific experience to augment the current skills and expertise on the Black British Classical Foundation Board. They will have extensive experience in income generation, whether from a charitable or corporate background. Ideally, they would have extensive experience in Trust, Foundations also building Corporate partnerships. They will be working closely with the Treasurer, CEO  to develop and implement an ambitious fundraising strategy for the charity.

What difference will you make?

For the BBCF to continue working, we have to find funds by applying for grants etc. Our aim is also to find ways to make the BBCF self-sufficient. The person who comes on board would have the satisfaction to know that they have contributed to making the Opera industry more inclusive and diverse.
