Volunteer Treasurer

What will you be doing?

We’re passionate about making the countryside in Leicestershire a better place for everyone to enjoy. Our vibrant team of volunteers inspire people to care for the countryside and enjoy the benefits it brings wherever they live. Volunteering with us is a fantastic way to help us champion environmental issues such as the climate emergency, renewable energy, biodiversity and sustainable transport. As treasurer you’ll ensure our financial affairs are conducted within legal requirements and good practice. You’ll work closely with the chair and trustees to oversee the financial sustainability and development of our charity.

What are we looking for?

We’re ideally looking for volunteers with experience in financial management and a passion for environmental and countryside issues.

Ability to keep accurate records and confidence in handling finances Be able to provide financial updates and present information in an understandable way Access to a computer and the internet at home Happy carrying out tasks independently and as part of a team
