Volunteer Trustee - Photofusion

What will you be doing?

For the last 30 years, Photofusion has supported and celebrated photography and photographers. Our mission is to be a photographic hub where anyone can find opportunity, expertise, encouragement, and community; a home for the makers. As we begin 2024, we are looking for new Trustees (voluntary position) to join our experienced board. In particular, we are looking for Finance, Legal, and Fundraising skills, as well as being keen to hear from people eager to support the arts ecology in Brixton, South London, and the surrounding area.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for individuals with at least 3 years' or more, experience in either Finance, Legal, or Fundraising (for charities), as well as being keen to hear from people eager to support the arts ecology in Brixton, South London, and the surrounding area. You do not need to have had priot Trustee experience as we are committed to full and appropriate induction and training for all Trustees.

What difference will you make?

We are looking for individuals who feel their skill-set can add to the robust governance of Photofusion. You will be supporting the organisation's vision and strategy (see the Trustee Information Pack downloadable from our website jobs page for more information). The organisation is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee and in the role of Trustee you will be contributing to our thinking and to our future success and resilience. Prior experience of governance is not necessary as we are committed to full and appropriate induction and training for all Trustees.
