What will you be doing?

Fundraising Campaign Support:

Assist in planning, organising, and executing fundraising campaigns, including online crowdfunding, events, and donor appeals. Help create compelling campaign content for social media, newsletters, and website updates to engage donors and supporters. Conduct research to identify potential donors, sponsors, and funding opportunities.

Donor Relations:

Support in maintaining relationships with existing donors and sponsors through personalised communication, thank-you letters, and updates on the impact of their contributions. Assist in identifying opportunities to steward and recognise donors, such as donor appreciation events or acknowledgment programs.

Grant Writing Assistance:

Collaborate with the fundraising team to research grant opportunities and assist in the preparation of grant proposals, ensuring alignment with the organisation's objectives and guidelines. Help compile necessary documentation and data for grant applications, including program budgets, project descriptions, and outcome metrics.

Community Engagement:

Represent the Scottish Pantry Network at community events, outreach activities, and networking opportunities to raise awareness and garner support for our mission. Participate in volunteer recruitment efforts and support volunteer coordination as needed.

Qualifications:

Passion for addressing food insecurity and promoting healthy living. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organisational and time management abilities. Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Previous experience in fundraising, nonprofit organisations, required

Time Management: Effective time management skills, prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and juggling multiple responsibilities. 

Experience:

Fundraising Experience: Previous experience in fundraising or donor relations is required. 

Customer Service Experience: Experience in customer service, interacting with people and effectively communicating the organisation's message and impact.

Passion for the Mission: A genuine passion for addressing food insecurity and promoting healthy living is essential for staying motivated and engaged in the fundraising efforts of TSPN.
