What will you be doing?
We’re looking to expand our Board to bring new and different experiences, skills and stories into our organisation. You don’t need to have past experience as a Trustee, or a professional background in the arts. The most important thing is that you believe in our mission and want to make a commitment to helping us grow and develop. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, especially those which are underrepresented. We are keen to improve the ethnic diversity of our Board, representation of disabled people. We are particularly keen to hear from people with
professional experience in fundraising and philanthropy Experience in school education Experience of working as a practising artist (any art form)

Our mission is: To collaborate with exceptional artists to create transformative experiences for people & communities. We do this in order to enable people to share their stories, leading them to a deeper understanding of themselves & their relationship with the world. We:
Create socially relevant narrative-centred art using a wide range of media Collaborate with people in our rural community & beyond, through in-person & digital delivery Bring cultural activity & creative expression to our underserved communities Promote a dynamic & creative approach to learning through storytelling for children & young people.
What are we looking for?
We are particularly looking for people with expertise in teaching and education. We have an extensive schools programme for primary schools and are keen to appoint someone who has knowledge of current needs of primary heads and primary commissioners.
Have an understanding and acceptance of the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of trusteeship. Be confident to work digitally using Zoom and other conferencing software. Have strong networks and the willingness to share them. Exercise good, independent judgement. Have the ability to think creatively. Have a willingness to speak their mind. Have an ability to work effectively as a member of a team. To adhere to Nolan’s seven principles of public life: selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty and leadership.
