What will you be doing?
We are looking for an experienced people person, to be the main point of contact for volunteers in Qisetna, helping with onboarding, introducing them to the goals of Qisetna and creating and implementing culture and engagement initiatives. Activities shared with HR team:
Ensure smooth onboard process (registration & enrolling) to new members Ensure there is appropriate support and training for volunteers Raise staff awareness of the role and function of volunteers Implement practices to enhance inclusivity, diversity, equality and belongingness Monitor, support, motivate and accredit volunteers and their work Generate appropriate volunteering opportunities and role descriptions based on the needs of the organisation Document management - record keeping, maintenance and updating Attend meetings and performing administrative tasks i.e. diary management, minutes taking Support department managers and support internal communications Support and research, write volunteer policies and procedures, including risk assessments
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a volunteer with HR support experience to be the main point of contact for volunteers in Qisetna, getting new members on board, introducing them to the goals of Qisetna and supporting different functions within the organization.
Previous HR experience is required Commitment, initiative and proactiveness Professional attitude Strong oral and writing skills Calendar planning Coordinating skills Administrative reporting skills Ability to work under pressure, independently or in a team Fluency in MS Office and Google Suite
What difference will you make?
The Volunteer will helps us establish a steady stream of new volunteers, expand Qisetna's network and support the HR processes, while identifying gaps in skills of the organization. In addition, the HR person will be in charge of monitoring and ensuring the volunteer's satisfaction and experience.
